The primary purpose of this Immersion Experience is to provide a rich, experiential
learning opportunity for graduate students in a masters or doctoral-level occupational
therapy program participating in accredited academic fieldwork or capstone projects.
Most presentations and activities are also open and suitable for practitioners, educators,
and coaches who may be interested in exploring emerging fields and interventions in
the equine, farm, and nature-based practice environment. The Carlisle faculty and
guest speakers represent decades of experience in both service delivery and curriculum
development expertise.
