Carlisle Catalyst Partners (CCP) is a grant-funded initiative of Carlisle Academy designed to support cohort-learning, knowledge transfer, and capacity-building for community-based equestrian centers. CCPs are integrative and innovative, driven by purpose over profit, and provide services in the equine, farm, and natural environment with an orientation towards human health, community enrichment, and horse stewardship.
CCPs are highly varied in curriculum, geography, and populations served, strengthened by a center’s own structure and leadership. CCPs recognize that creating a resilient culture and catalyzing impact involves alliance building and peer support. CCPs encourage creative expression and seek opportunities to bring greater joy to our collective work.
CCP Framework
Each year 4 CCPs are chosen through a juried application to engage in a semester-long, CAIETS Field School leadership training program with modules exploring core values, social responsibility, organizational culture, business structure, curriculum development, and service mix for overall sustainability. The cohort meets online every two weeks for three hours, over three months, scheduled during the day, midweek.
Upon program completion, CCPs stay connected through in-person and online summits, skill-building workshops, and ongoing networking opportunities. They are given priority placement and pricing for one-on-one consulting, technical assistance, and other Carlisle trainings.
CCPs become eligible to apply for funding for the larger, multi-year grants through the Carlisle Foundation.
Application
CCP will run as a grant-funded pilot program in 2027, accepting four centers. To apply to become a Carlisle Catalyst Partner, please send an email to info@carlisleacademymaine.com for an inquiry packet and more information on program timeline and requirements.
